ATP Secure Erase can also recover the file system architecture, such as FAT32, or NTFS. After the secure erase operation has been completed, ATP Secure Erase will automatically re-format the storage device into its original file system, either FAT32, or NTFS. If the storage device has no file system, ATP Secure Erase can create a NTFS system for the device. Ultimately, the storage device can be configured back to its original, ready-to-use format.
